How to creating a seperate window in camera view

Post by Resolution » 01 Sep 2020, 12:26

Hello!

Is there a way to create a separate window that would show how the scene look like in camera view? As far as I know the only way to see what the camera could see is to enable the "view with camera view" button and it would play the preview in the same window.
It would also be nice to be able to scrub through timeline and see how the scene would look like in camera view at a particular frame.

Thanks !

You can't.

I'm a bit surprised, it though this was probably possible, but it turns out you can only display with camera view when you playback a preview.

feature request!

I think generally the camera is a messy tool there are at least 3 different panels that control its behaviour....
-tool panel
-display panel
-remote control panel

Hello all,
We have plans for a complete rework of how cameras are handled for the next TVPaint :) We are aiming to make them a lot more simple to setup.
Of course your improvement ideas are always welcome.
