Re: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite and TVPaint Animation

There are no updates for 10 to fix a problem with Yosemite, which came out long before 11? If 11 was out three month before Yosemite I would say it's the way things goes, but this is really bad support. I agree. Imagine all those kids just out of school with no. 10 licence and getting a new Mac for...

Re: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite and TVPaint Animation

I did. The problem with lagging while zooming, scrolling and turning table is still there, I am still not sure about drawing, I have to spend little longer with that.

Re: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite and TVPaint Animation

So, my solution is to buy no 11? Maybe we should announce this so everyone who owns 10 licence should think twice before buying the new Mac, IMHO.

Re: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite and TVPaint Animation

No, Elodie, it doesn't. I just installed 64 bit version (Again) and it lags as hell. I can't even navigate properly, or turn table, it lags and user experience is totally uncomfortable. And also, when I draw, it is good for a while, but after some drawing time it starts to lag to the point that I li...

Re: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite and TVPaint Animation

Hello, I started to use my computer after a big trip in Viborg so therefore I stopped to report about my UX. Now I noticed that sometimes TVP starts to lag terribly and the only solution is to restart. Annoying. Nothing special happens before, it just starts to lag in the middle of work. It happens ...

Re: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite and TVPaint Animation

OK! I hate to be an ass, but the functionality on YOSEMITE is seriously weird and I am not able to explain what is the mater. Today I experienced super weird behaviour of the FX palette - the scroll bar simply refused to scroll, but instead it behaved like I want to record the path. Scrolling on mou...

Keyboard shortcut not responding

Hi, annoying problem: I have assigned shortcut which links to my custom command, setup which worked perfectly on 64 bit, but since I had to put 32 bit version, now it is not responding. I tried to assign different shortcut on action, same problem. And if I press the command in the palette it works. ...

Check this : http://forum.tvpaint.com/viewtopic.php?style=19&f=10&t=8603#p78773" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; You can try to work full screen on the 64 bits version. Re: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite and TVPaint Animation

I am confirming what is already said. On a new iMac 5k retina display the 32 bit version flies compared to the 64 bit version which is lagging terribly. So, for now, I will use the 32 bit version. Looking forward for the news :)

Re: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite and TVPaint Animation

Sorry Thierry, I guess my question was a bit confusing. That happens often, since I'm always translating the sentences a bit to straight from german. However, you answered my question nontheless. I'm sorry to keep asking, but this means TVPaint 11 will work with Yosemite, no matter if you use the 3...

Re: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite and TVPaint Animation

I am not crazy about jumping to Yosemite myself, but since new iMac has it pre installed and they don't recommend downgrading it due to some other possible problems, it seems I am forced to use Yosemite. So, that's why I would appreciate some date of releasing the new version. Enlight us, Thierry, p...

Electric Pencil Sharpener, Europe?

Hi, Are any of you aware of good, heavy duty electric pencil sharpener which could be bought in Europe? I am having a "great time" finding one on Google, pointing me only on X-Acto, which in US costs >$60 on Amazon, and on amazon.de exactly the same costs 138 EUR? I mean, wtf. So, any help for us wh...
