Re: TVPaint & Mirage together?

I seem to be able to run both Mirage and TVP off the same dongle, simultaneously... and even save a cutbrush or layer to the clip board in one app and retrieve it from the clipboard in the other without a problem.

Re: Can not access Help files from program

This all is rather odd. Two more things to check - is the .pdf extension associated with Acrobat 7.0? Also, I'm using Acrobat 7.0.6 located in the Program Files/Adobe/Acrobat 7.0/Reader subfolder (filename AcroRd32.exe) As a test I deleted the .pdf association, after which TVP couldn't bring up the ...

Re: Can not access Help files from program

Beyond placing the manual.pdf file in the Data folder I don't have any other remedies. That's what worked for me. Only other thing I can think is that the HELP path is defined somewhere as being C:\Program Files\TvPaint Developpement\TVPaint Animation Pro\Data. Is this the path to your Data folder? ...

Re: Can not access Help files from program

I've been thinking about getting a Kindle for a long time now, but the reviews were terrible. Now that the thing has been out for awhile and Amazon can't make them fast enough to fulfill all the orders, my interest has been rekindled. Does the Kindle allow loading your own files? And is it true the...

Re: Can not access Help files from program

The manual is already in that folder. It was installed with the software. Hmm. I think the "manual" installed with the software isn't actually the real manual, but rather a place-holder. Check the file size - the real manual .pdf file should be 40,216 kb (that's the downloaded TVPPro manual in Engl...

Re: Can not access Help files from program

Cathy, You need to do this yourself. Select and download the the user manual... http://www.tvpaint.com/downloads/tvpap/manual.pdf Once the manual.pdf file is downloaded move it into the TVPaint Animation Pro/Data subfolder. After which, it should pop right up when you click TVPaint Animation Help......

Re: What's new in TVP Pro 8.6?

The tvpx format will be for universal sharing (Custom Panels, Papers, Plug-in, Mixers, etc ... : everything which is not a project) although an user can't create it at the moment. The creation of the tvpx files will be added later, we are working on it, stay tuned ! :) Well, this will be a fantasti...

Subpixel box checked - not checked

When I check the global subpixel box (in preferences) it seems to disable my drawing ability to erase by pressing the pen-switch while pressing the pen tip. But with Subpixel preference box unchecked, pressing the pen-switch while pressing the pen tip erases just as it always did. I'm asking because...

Re: No Audio Import &Play Capability in TV Paint?

Do not have manual because I do not have TV Paint . . . reviewing. The manual is free to download at the link Klaus provides... it's worthwhile to have the manual loaded as an alternative screen when evaluating... You can have both TVPaint and the manual loaded at same time, and if you only have on...

Seventeen where?

Hisko,

Your two clips and the stills at your site makes me want to see the entire thing. Is Seventeen anywhere viewable on-line or part of any anthology DVD?

(and the Music too. Wow.)

Re: What's new in TVP Pro 8.6?

The 8.6 version allows to load the .tvpx files which can contain several useful things like : - Papers, - Custom Panels - FX - Mixers and Bin After a quick search I couldn't find any mention of this file creation process: Is the .tvpx file format for universal sharing, meaning can any USER assemble...

George Scripts - right arrow and left arrow wrap-around

Attached is a zip file with two short .grg scripts that enhance the left and right arrow keys so that they auto-wrap when viewing frames on the current layer. Also, another key assignment which uses the NextFrame.grg script to permit wrap-around, multi-frame stamping of custom-brushes. Included in t...

Zig, thanks for this tip... I have accumulated more than a few of my own custom brush buttons that need this line added, especially after using brushes from the Animation Creation Trial Pack. :?

Kicking the tires

After a day with TVP Pro I'm convinced to do the upgrade to 8.5. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING is better, more solid, more intuitive and yet almost completely backward compatible to my Mirage settings. I'm still using the demo, testing the interface, my collection of custom buttons and scripts I've ...

HELLO to all my fellow Mirage immigrants , I feel a little like I just walked around the corner to discover that one of my favorite neighborhood bars just burned to the ground. It's disconcerting how many years of rich and worthy Mirage user history and wisdom just went up in smoke. :( But then all ...
