Re: Anti Aliasing problem needs fixing badly!

Artfx, you mention that you have been doing tutorials. Where are these? I would like to see them and then I might be able to suggest what else could be done. Thanks! I did some of the tutorials here on this site, at the tutorials link above. There is also a link to my own tutorials in my signature ...

Re: Anti Aliasing problem needs fixing badly!

The way I see it, that is not a TVPaint thing. That is a "limitation of working with pixels" thing. Since the days of the Amiga computer I have known that if you're going to be working with, moving, scaling and resizing pixels, doesn't matter if it's in 2D or 3D, it is ideal to work at 2X resolution...

Update Page not working for me

My computer died last Thursday night. With good backups, I lost very little, but I, of course, must reinstall my software.

The TVPaint update page doesn't allow me to download the latest version. It simply says "There is no new version". How can I download TVPaint to put back on my system?

Re: Quicktime : the dying and abandonned file format

My worry with the demise of Quicktime is more about file sizes. Apple has a great codec, called the Apple Intermediate Codec. While being compressed as far as file size, I have yet to throw anything at it that is noticeably compressed. This format is made for editing. While MP4 works for most needs,...

Re: I seem to have lost my sketch panels . . .

I'm not sure where it would be on Windows, but you can find specific bins for just the parts you want to keep of your config. Copy them somewhere safe, and then delete your configs. After you start up with a new config, you can copy the pieces you want back. I do that with my FX Stack bins and parti...

Re: Eraser size

I always had the space bar switch to my default drawing tool, so I never felt much issue with quickly choosing another tool for erasing or a different line. I also added some "duplicate" tools in my custom panels for quick size changes. I notice I often use the same sizes over and over.

Fill Inside and Auto Pick Color

I don't suppose there is a way for the "fill inside" feature to work with "auto pick color" like the bucket tool?

Re: Adjusting multiple layers at once

Having it for all the layers would be cool, but once you go there, someone will certainly want to have it for selected layers as well. Maybe the default could be all unless layers are selected.

Re: Subscription system like Adobe CC

I'm fine getting an upgrade every couple of years especially since the last few updates haven't been that spectacular. I think that is WHY they, and a couple of other big software companies, are going the subscription route. They, and their customers likely, are well aware of this lack of spectacul...

Re: No Quicktime Codec Options Available - OSX 10.8.5

I actually do like QuickTime, especially when working on a Mac - I work with it most of my professional life (even on Windows). But maybe it's just a matter of being used to something... There's more to it than that. It's just plain easy , especially on a Mac. Properly organized, you can have insta...

Re: New Samsung 10.1 Galaxy Note 2014

Me too. The companion is so pricey, that I'd rather leave it on the table than carry it with me everywhere. I was thinking about the companion a lot, but decided to wait for the samsung unboxing thing. And this new note seem very interesting. By the way Art, what pen do you use with your tablet? S-...

Hehehe I am actually the opposite. Because of the new Note, I lost interest in the Wacom Cintiq Companion. :D

New Samsung 10.1 Galaxy Note 2014

http://www.theverge.com/2013/9/4/469296 ... 14-edition

Looks like a new version of the 10.1 Galaxy Note is due with much higher resolution, better camera and more Wacom powered S-pen options. I will be keeping an eye out for this!
