Re: nudge a cutbrush?

I was searching around a bit and stumbled on a post by ZigOtto that solves this problem: create and name these 4 buttons : - a) [Pan X-] with action = [command : tv_Panning -1 0 0] - b) [Pan X+] with action = [command : tv_Panning 1 0 0] - c) [Pan Y-] with action = [command : tv_Panning 0 -1 0] - d)...

Bug when zooming with multiple project windows open?

When I have more than one project open and several windows floating and zoom in and out, no matter what window has the focus the zooming occurs in the first project window opened. Steps to reproduce: Start a new project, zoom in and out. Start a second project zoom in and out. The window that zooms ...

nudge a cutbrush?

Is there a way to stamp the cutbrush and then nudge it a couple pixels from the original position via the keyboard and stamp again? I use this a lot for textures with texture brushes, stamp, change lightness, stamp again a couple pixels offset depending on where the light is comming from, but it's h...

Re: Floating canvas resize to fit on zoom?

@Peter Yep I know I can do that. It's just that I sometimes have 10-15 reference images floating around. I tab to one of them and maybe zoom in to check something, but the window stays the same size so I have to resize it. Then I zoom back out so I can see the whole image more like a thumb, and then...

Re: Snap palettes together

I'm pretty sure I used programs that had floating windows that could snap together before adobe did it. What about winamp for example, you can snap windows together. There's lots of other apps where you can do the same. I'm not so much looking for the whole "drag one palette into another" photoshop ...

Re: Anyone use other wacom pens like artpen, airbrush?

Code: Select all

Probably a driver issue as it happens in all drawing programs
Whoups... except tvpaint :)

It happened once in tvpaint but I'm fairly sure that was because I had tab'ed from ps to tvpaint. Maybe it's some issue with wacom tool id's?

Snap palettes together

Would be nice if you could snap floating palettes to eachother so that when moving them around you move everything. For example I use the color picker and the variations palette together all the time but I have to move both windows one a t a time. If they snapped you could easily group palettes you ...

Re: Floating canvas resize to fit on zoom?

That's cool. Would be nice if there was a preference setting so that happened automatically when zooming. When working with a bunch of reference images I'm constantly zooming in/out to check if my values are working and such and when the window doesn't resize to fit it end up covering some other win...

Floating canvas resize to fit on zoom?

When you have a project window floating (i.e not fullscreen) is there anyway to have the window fit the canvas when you zoom in and out?

Re: Using tablet in TVPaint animation

Also don't forget that for every connection, like size->pressure you can click the little button next to the parameter and from the popup menu select "Profile editor" and tweak the profile. Much better control than changing global settings in the wacom driver as you can fine tune every brush you cre...

Re: Grid Panel defaults

If the grid parameters could be scripted then you could easily set things up in the george startup script. (startup.grg)

I have the same gripe about the canvas resize on rotation checkbox, it always defaults to on.

Re: Anyone use other wacom pens like artpen, airbrush?

I just got the artpen finally, was out of stock. It's really nice, about the same size as the standard pen with the rocker side button and eraser. Twist is smooth and easy to control with a little practice. It's awesome that tvpaint brush ghosting shows you every dynamic parameter changing the brush...

Re: Command to check paper attributes?

If you have the time that would be a great addition I think. For example right now you have to create say 5 different scripts that each pops up a list of related choices and bind each one to a key, wasting 5 keys or create a huge popup menu with all the choices making it hard to overlook it all. Wit...

On a related note, is there anyway tv_ListRequest can do submenus?
