Wow, yeah, this works. Thanks!

Mhm? OK, I don't get the logic behind it. But the other drawing tools seems to work the same way so there is no inconstistency between them.

Re: Custom Brush Erase Issues

Yes, I know those other several ways on how to delete your brush and how to use erasers. When sketching or working very fast, I prefer the sidebutton of the wacom Pen. My hand is mostly in action with zooming anf other stuff. F2 and F4 is a little bit out of focus for me. However - do you know any r...

Custom Brush Erase Issues

Hello, I often use the side-Button of my Wacom-Pen to erase my strokes. This works fine with any drawing tools, except the Custom Brush. When using a Custom Brush I am only able to erase the strokes I did, before I used another tool or changed the layer (and came back) or changed the frame (and came...

Re: TVPaint exporting wrong number of frames!

I made a fast test with 10.5.7 pro on win7: startframe on the timeline is 1, lastframe on the timline is 450 exported as jpgs from frame 1 to frame 450 and got 450 jpgs. fine :-). So I would suggest: - have again a close look at your timeline. Is the last frame really number 450? - make a new layer,...

Re: Corrupted files, help please!

I tried with the first one, but coul'nt open it. TVPaint 10.5 and 11 tries to open it, but nothing more happens. No errormessages.

For the other files, I am not sure if TVPaint is able to open the temp-files at all.

Re: One scene will not display on Cintiq

I just changed the Mac display preference and tested dragging the screen over. I can drag it halfway over to the Cintiq, but as soon as I drag it anymore, the problem occurs. But I can easily rescue the screen by dragging the window back to the Mac screen, and the Cintiq recovers. I think, it could...

Re: One scene will not display on Cintiq

Yes, what the hell? I also have never seen something like this. Normally I would say, It looks like a hardware problem - but if it is really only this scene while others works fine ... I don't know. But I would like to know what will happen, when you expand your TVPaint to both screens (instead of m...

Re: Changing the Tint Color

I don't know a lot about the George Script commands, but when I want to have another line color, I just use the "Preserve Transparency" function of a layer, one of the drawing tools and every color I like to have.

Re: Wacom Intuos/strange stroke thickness issue

Hello and welcome Audiovisualisa, take a look at the Panel for linesmoothing. - If linesmoothing is activated it is "normal" that the stroke needs some time to reach its maximum size. (That's one reason, I don't use linesmoothing often.) - If linesmoothing is activated and set to a higher value (let...

Re: All my frames disappear when I open my saved file!

If the TVPaint Team is rethinking about the naming of the "Preload", I just want to mention, that I have been always confused about what "Preload" really does (embedding, or not), because before I only used the term in the context of Flash-Programming. There it means, that a flash-file is waiting to...

Re: Bug? Animbrush with line, rect, ellipse and spline

I can confirm for TVPaint 10.5.7 and for TVPaint 11.0.2 on Win7/64. I made an animbrush containing numbers from 1 to 10. I set the animation of the brush to none. When I set the animation slider to let's say 5, my brush tips shows the 5. But when Idraw a line or rectangle, ... at the moment, the pen...

Re: All custom panels and actions disappeared

As I know TVPaint stores all your custom panels in a special "default" folder. Normally it is located in c:/users/username/AppData/Roaming/tvp animation 10 pro You can have a look at there. But if your system admin installed the software new, the folder is probably overwritten with a new one. :-( I ...

Re: How does TVPaint exporting work?

TVPaint exports in many ways and in many different possible video formats. You have choosen to export an uncompressed .avi which is the best quality you can get out of TVpaint - but, yes, the files are very big. I don't know what you will do with your exported movie, but why don't you try a compress...

Re: qtcf.dll missing?

I would just try to download the missing .dll and replace (search on your system hd for it) the old one with the new one. If that not works there could be some broken registry-settings connected to the .dll. There will be answers on the Internet, but if this is to tricky for you, it's maybe an easie...

Re: Video Input - Lightable or onionskin function?

Wow, thanks a lot for the really helpful answers. Yes, our wish to use onion skinning is mainly directed to try out cut out animations in a stop motion way. For classical linetests it is not really needed, but there are sometimes excaptions (for example when our animation teacher take the drawings o...
