Many , if not all, of the functions made possible by these custom scripts should be added by the developers to TVPaint as standard functions.

I am interested in this , too. It would be very useful to be able to have folders of image sequences in the Image Library that could be used as source images for swapping out mouth shapes or looped animation of various types.
