Re: Sharpen?

Hironori is correct. No sharpen filter . You can, however, sharpen the image with the CONVOLVE fx... convolve0.jpg convolve1.jpg Also, this old thread below has some additional techniques to sharpen images. There's 3 or 4 different methods, each one quite effective depending on the situation. http:/...

Re: Underwater Caustic Effects with Perlin Noise

The Perlin Noise or the ripple glass texture (used with Displacement Mapping) worked for my purposes. I can't get the Optical Flow to work for a rippling/wavy effect... I don't understand it. It seems to be one of those FX (like Inlay Texture) which uses a lot of CPU and/or RAM (?) and makes my com...

Re: Underwater Caustic Effects with Perlin Noise

Looks convincing to me

With just a few adjustments, the same method you used could also simulate heat haze for extremely hot temperatures in a blazing fire, desert scene, jet engine afterburners, etc.

Re: Underwater Caustic Effects with Perlin Noise

That looks doable. The tricky part, I think, is getting the right combination of turbulence pattern and displacement settings but I think you should be able to achieve the effect you want... The way I would approach it would be to first create the turbulence using perlin noise or plasma on its own l...

Re: scale/re size images without blurring of line quality

Hi, I like the new library idea, however, I wish you could copy image to layer from reference library. Seems like a no-brainer. Not as anim brush, as it is now, that is just so unintuitive if you have big images etc. Another thing is that when I use an image as a guide from the library the referenc...

To get transparency with the Camera View export you have to set Background to "NONE" here:

Re: I can't see the drawing area

Oh I meant, when I set the new project. I set the drawing area should be 2 times bigger than camera view in ratio which you can check in the photo copy I attach. I can't see the extra drawing area that I could draw more out of canvas. Look in the Display Settings panel see if Camera is checked and ...

Re: Zooming and rotating by dragging the stylus?

I'm running into a roadblock. I want to program the Alt/Option key together with the Right Mouse Button command so that they're both actuated with a single key command. That would allow me to simply hold one key down while dragging the stylus left or right to zoom in and out. The problem I'm runnin...

Re: Zooming and rotating by dragging the stylus?

I've found a way to set it up so that I can press the Alt button while holding down the right click button on the stylus and dragging it left & right. It works, but ideally I'll find a way so that I can just press the keyboard shortcut without having to also press the stylus' right click button. It...

Re: Anti-Alias Off Eraser Tool

You can have a HotKey be set for the general Custom Brush Tool rather than that specific Custom Panel Brush. So when you need to toggle between pen and the custom eraser, the settings will persist rather than be reset.

Re: Anti-Alias Off Eraser Tool

You can try making a small Filled Circle or Filled Rectangle (using the shape tools) and then Cut to Brush. In Custom Brush settings, set AAliasing to "NONE" and mode to Erase. Save as Custom Panel (Grab Current Tool). With it being a custom brush you can assign it to a hotkey and also resize as nee...

Re: How to make a project smaller

This might work for you: Duplicate the Project. Select All Layers. Adjust the timeline by dragging the last image back to the desired endpoint. The Shrink/Cut Images dialog box will automatically pop up (when the dialog box appears, the timeline will "jump" back to its original length until you hit ...
