Re: A newly created and saved project doesn't appear in Recent Files

its should be as simple as this: the list with recent imports shows you any file(image/mov/project) that you recently imported (=openend/loaded) the list with recent exports list shows you any file(image/mov/project) that you exported (=saved/exported) i find it usefull to have the distinction so th...

Re: Zoom and Rotate issue

i thought it might have to do with the "auto fit" setting of the view, but that resets after you zoom. So i cant replicate. great suggestion to use Alt+Ctrl on the pen though! i never thought of that. its a good way to acces rotating the canvas. though i'd keep it on the back side of the pen switch....

Re: What Cache amount should I put on Manual?

Auto is using half of the available which i believe normally is optimal,
1638Mb is maybe on the low side.

Re: Academy Award winning "If Anything Happens I Love You" animated with TVPaint

... It's a bit surprising to me that the TVPaint Co. doesn't make more of this in their publicity. ... i'm less surprised... unfortunately... in the past years i have not been able to catch management taking any interest, maybe they do but then they are very good at hiding it. I fully agree with yo...

Re: Never break instance when using transform tool

you could combine Svens autobreak script with the selecting of the transform tool in one action and assign that to a key so when you press that shortcut you get the transform tool and simultaneously autobreak off but because its a toggle... the problem is how to switch it back on. Sven, is there not...

Re: Set Transparency

Thank you thierry for this. i am now trying to make it even more failproof and easy for animators i want buttons to set the right opacity for groups in one click so say we need always to have the layers of group 4 (GroupColor 4) be opacity (LayerDensity) 50% how would i make a button that does that?...

Re: Weird right-click eraser is active while stylus pen in air

Right click in Tvpaint is essential and i use it intensively. i've set my wacom pen top rocker switch to "right click" for this reason. It does allow you to draw in erase mode with whatever is the current tool. And actually that is the only thing that is not ideal about this wacom setting in tvpaint...

Re: Cleaning up clutter in the FX Bin

Because The FX's in TVPaint are destructive it is all the more important to be able to streamline and organize FX's in the stack. It should be made as easy as possible to add and/or combine stacks from various projects. So a way to add a previous stack to the current one, without replacing it would ...

Re: Summary of past requests on WIT STUDIO

BG elements i sometimes import using the Keyframer to keep it non-destructive For animation, i circumvent this issue by having my pan tool in "Fill" mode, that way you can always reposition non-destructively. i use this for instance when re-spacing animation to fine tune arcs. Only one thing you'll ...

Re: Clicking right mouse button layer transparency

This works! Thanks Peter! The one thing that wonders me however why since TVP 11 there is always one percent transparency difference between what you type and what the layer shows... :D Cool, yeah noticed that too, might be a rounding error? Another bug in layer opacity control: When right clicking...

Re: Warp grid artifcating

I believe its not palette nor gif related.

The wrapping grid distortion drops pixels, which creates holes.
I suspect the wrapping grid algorithm needs an overhaul for this to be fixed,
So probably don't expect an improvement fast.

Re: Quite annoying bug of the jumping timeline in Project mode

Isn't it possible to simply slow down the scroll speed as the cursor approaches the edge?

like having a small bufferzone that gradually lowers the scroll speed as you get deeper in it.
