The Animator's Survival Kit

Post by guitartist » 19 Apr 2013, 20:58

If you have an iPad, you might be interested to know that Richard Williams just released a new, interactive version of his classic book designed specifically for the iPad. I've got his book but, since animation is motion it's nice to be able to see all the animated concepts in action. You can view the animation examples in realtime or one frame at a time, with or without onionskinning.

You can either get the full app or download a free version to get an idea of what it's like. I got the free version for now and I think it's well done. Worth a look: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-ani ... 38690?mt=8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I only have Android devices, so can't use the app either. On the other hand, I *can* use TVPaint!
