additional option in modify project

Since Pjotr asked about it:
what about adding a frame range in the modify project panel so we can extract parts into new projects?
Or maybe, for increased speed, something like "cut up project by bookmarks", making each bookmark the first frame of a new project?

I like the bookmark idea! -- but just about anything to make this happen will thrill me!
