It's just what the name says and it's fantastic for small studios; even as small as our two person operation with a LAN network. Sandra and I can share projects we are both working on by sending these within seconds to each other. While she's coloring she often comes across frames which I hadn't completed properly or if she needs to see a background she's working on in the context of motion and editing on Vegas, she sends it to me, I render it quickly to and avi and within seconds it sits in Vegas and we can run it together. There are many more uses like these. You can also send custom panels to each other or to several people in a studio simultaneously. Anywhere you may come across the word "send" listed in a menu, it's for this function. I believe it works between desktops and android tablets as well, but I don't use one so I'm not sure.
