Re: Frame Counter Brush (1 - 1500)

hmmm.... actually i tried the timecode fx just now... and it seems the custom framerate setting is broken. i cannot add numbers to frames on doubles i tried it in Generation: "User defined" to set framerate in "User defined" to 12 so it would skip every other frame. but the generator simply stops wo...

I could be wrong, but I have the impression this was already a feature request. However, I really like the idea.
Maybe you mean this request?

Re: Keyboard shortcuts - assigning request

but surely it should be possible to store the status information on the current tool somewhere, so that it can be accessed for this purpose ? the alternative would be to add toggle combinations in the right colomn in the keyboard shortcut panel (of all the tvpaint functions) then you'd have to antic...

Keyboard shortcuts - assigning request

i would like to have the option to add a toggle command when assigning keyboard shortcuts this would dramaticly increase the options in configuring the keyboard now you can add multiple functions under one key by holding CTRL. then you can get something like this: 'key' - Layer: Exposure: Go to Next...

Re: B-Spline Line Weight Feature

another thing you can do with the curve is to not start and end it at the bottom, that way you control the minimum size of your line.

so if you have a brush size of 4, starting the profile halfway at 50% makes the taper only go down to size 2

Re: B-Spline Line Weight Feature

yes, you'll need to open the profile editor under the connection button, in your image the button displays an F (fade)

Re: B-Spline Line Weight Feature

This request can be considered a hint that "fade" is not the best name for this connection,
in fact it is misleading...
It needs a name that better covers what it does.

some suggestions:
- Profile
- Profile fade
- Taper profile

Re: Improved Paint Bucket source behavior with selection

agreed, though this behaviour follows from the internal logic of how selections work in tvpaint, which is: not forming a border so maybe an option should be available similar to disabling contiguous fill in Ps. this would make a difference between just filling the selection you click on vs filling o...

Re: Picking a layer

i cant bring you further with the layerpick tool but here is a method i often use when removing blemishes or need to find specific layers for other reasons. i switch to "display current layer" (shortcut =) this way TVP only shows you the active layer so you can run through your layers holding up/dow...

Re: How do I add ease in and out to keyframe move?

i would split it up.

first do the AB part with a simple easy in ease out speed curve
then apply the second part BC, with a new keyframer in the stack

Re: Cacani 2d software with automatic inbetweening done righ

I didn't know Cacani is able to do automatic inbetweens. All examples he showed looked pretty horrible, but I could imagine if you use it wisely it could be pretty pretty handy. Unfortunately such stuff only seems to work in vector graphics yeah you'd have to look past the artwork in the examples b...

Re: Import off canvas image from Photoshop psd

But maybe the TVPaint workspace could have the size of the uncropped image, instead of the cropped one. If it's possible to read out how big the image is outside of the working space. and then automaticly set a camera with the dimensions of the cropped Ps image dimensions... interesting thought. th...
