Re: Can I go straight from V11 to V11.0.8?

Thanks D.T., but my question was more of a technical one. I'm wondering if there are any issues with jumping straight from 11 to 11.0.8 without first downloading any of the interim versions. Or are these downloads complete versions in and of themselves?

Can I go straight from V11 to V11.0.8?

I'm currently using version 11 64 bit. Can I make a jump straight to version 11.0.8?

I'm on a 2016 iMac and 27" Cintiq.

Text Font Roll-over Preview

I recently worked on a project which required a lot of text fonts in the backgrounds. It would be super-useful if the Text font library had a rollover function where you could quickly see what each font actually looks like before choosing it. It would speed things up immensely!

Thanks D.T.! That's kind of what I was thinking, but it's good to get confirmation.

Re: Mac OS High Sierra (update 01/08/2018)

It looks as though the last post regarding problems with OS High Sierra and TVPaint was about 5 weeks ago.
Has that issue been resolved, or is it still advised to avoid updating from Sierra to High Sierra?

Re: Gray areas of paper drawings are showing

That last tip works beautifully! Yesterday as a test, after using the Black & White Scan Cleaner, I used the color picker to match the white area and was going through frame by frame coloring over the really dark areas where my hand numbering and the black peg hole registration tape images were. Thi...

Re: Gray areas of paper drawings are showing

That's a great tip D.T.. Thank you!
I'm going to try that out now in hopes that it'll help me remember it.

Re: Gray areas of paper drawings are showing

Peter, The project I was testing this stuff out on had scans that were already cleaned, so yes, I was wanting to know how to affect already clean drawings. But then I also wanted to see how the method that DT (and you) have described might work. I chose Multiple FX and then Histogram, but it didn't ...

Re: Gray areas of paper drawings are showing

Thank you so much DT! That worked beautifully on the already Scan Cleaned frames.
Very helpful for a numbskull like me to have the video to follow!

Re: Gray areas of paper drawings are showing

DT, I'm going into the Histogram and moving the little needles to adjust the white levels, but it doesn't appear to be affecting the image in any way. I'm clearly doing something wrong. That said, I thought that it might make sense to first show you a frame of my animation to see if this is indeed t...

Gray areas of paper drawings are showing

I have a walk cycle that I did on paper and scanned into TVP. It's a high-con walk cycle of a pure black character on a white background. I used the Basic Scan Clean function to "clear" the drawings. The issue that I have is that the drawings are showing gray in relation to the pure white area of th...

Re: Key Framer and manual positioning of drawings

That does make sense, and I'll give that method a try. Where I was getting stopped up is in thinking that you can only set a beginning key frame, and an end key frame. When I was trying to set intermediate key frames to keep the character's feet in place while it's slowing, nothing seemed to be happ...
