I have scanned the Cinema 4D Projection Man Tutorial. Here are the first 3 pages of 5 total. Follow the instructions, and replace the word Photoshop with TVPaint.

Re: Projection mapping

I used Cinema 4D to projection map. It works great with TVP.

TVP opens right from the Cinema 4D interface.

I can't find an adequate example to link to. Sorry.

Re: ArtFX's Galaxy Wars!

Terrence: Thanks for the reply! By "playback," what I mean is, how many many frames can you work on at once? If I were to animate using the Galaxy Note with TVP 10, would I be able to animate a 100 frame scene with a different drawing every other frame? How about 200 frames? I would think that 2 gig...

Re: ArtFX's Galaxy Wars!

Wonderful work, Terrence! I assume this is a RAM issue, but just how many TVP frames can your Galaxy Note play back? Could you animate a scene that lasts 100 frames? More? 500 frames? I just checked the Galaxy specs. Does your Galaxy Note have 16 gig of RAM? Instead of using it for sketching and pai...

Re: Short movies made with TVPaint

Paul - Thanks for posting this. All of these are very salient points. A lot of the close ups of the characters could have been extended by a second or second and a half to show what characters were thinking. It would have made the characters more original instead of being stock characters. The fight...

Very nice work. The horses are especially good. Liked the ballet dancer too. There's a lot of very interesting performances here.

Re: Finally some competition for Wacom Cintiq, so it seems

Peter: Thanks for the tip! Idragosani: There is a a slight parallax issue. But you get used to it. I own a 22" Cintiq, and I barely notice any parallax. The only problem I have had with the Cintiq is that the surface is a bit too smooth. Drawing on it doesn't feel like a pencil on paper. As you draw...

Re: New film from Makoto Shinkai ?

His movies seem overly sensitive.

Maybe it is the American in me, but I think animation is better off with an occasional explosion. :)

Re: Scanner Recommendations?

Wow! Thanks David, what a thorough response! I really couldn't ask for anything more. You knocked it out of the park.

It looks like your tip on Vuescan may just save me from having to buy a new scanner. So thanks again for that.

You're the best!
