Re: Can't Open TVPaint

Sorry to be a problem... but I am a little confused. I am trying to download the latest safenet ultrapro dongle drivers. I go to Safenet's website https://sentinelcustomer.gemalto.com/sentineldownloads/ I search for Sentinel Ultrapro. I get a list of downloads. (See screenshot) There are several dow...

Re: Can't Open TVPaint

Thanks Animark and D.T. Nethery.

Before I try your solutions, does anyone on the TVPaint staff have any advice?

Thanks

Can't Open TVPaint

Hello: I can not open TV Paint. I had to replace my C drive. I also upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. So now I am using windows 10. I had a zipped version of TVPaint Animation Pro 8.5. You had sent it to me a few years ago. It is version TVP Animation 8.6.4.1173fPRO(32).exe I unzipped it and in...

Specific Image Sequence Numbering

Hello: I want to create an image sequence that would look like this: TVP.0000.PNG TVP.0001.PNG TVP.0002.PNG and on and on... But when I export, TVP will create files named TVP.0000 TVP.0001 TVP.0002 TVP.0003 but there is no .PNG extension. How can I export files in this format? TVP.0000.PNG TVP.0001...

Re: Blender’s 2.5D toolset

Yes you are right. It is new to the Blender community. So I am happy for them. A few months ago a friend of mine who uses After Effects sent a link to a video. The video showed a new development for After Effects - not only could you composite, but now you paint from within After Effects! I just had...

Re: Blender’s 2.5D toolset

I'm not that impressed. This is nothing new. Sure you can do it in a free program, but it is nothing new. I already work with Cinema 4D and TVP: 1. I create TVP Animations and artwork with an alpha channel 2. I create planes in C4D, and put the TVP artwork onto 3D planes as materials 3. If I need to...

Re: Kinetic Textures by autodesk

To be fair, they are not presenting Draco as an animation tool. From what I can tell, it is a way to add a few moving details to a still drawing or photo. Probably good for motion comics, but who likes those? Yecch. I agree with slow tiger on this - sure the product makes it easy to move pict...

Indeed.

If while animating, I actually encounter God, do you think I could get him to do a few in-betweens?

Re: To Get Serious Work Done, Do You Have To Be In Your Stud

Thanks for all of the responses. Neon Noodle and Shwarzgrau - thanks for the tips on the new tablets. Slow Tiger - great to see some early work. Lots of lively fun in the kangaroo animation! Paul - The analogy between a novelist and animator is one I use all of the time! I tell my friends who are se...

To Get Serious Work Done, Do You Have To Be In Your Studio?

For all of the users of portable Cintiq – Galaxy Note – or any other tablet: I have this fantasy that if I get a Cintiq or a tablet, that I’ll be able to animate in public places, like libraries, coffee houses, and even outside. But is this really possible? Of those of us who have a portable tablet,...
