Re: image sequence--> layers

Thank you very much, I was in need because some students wanted to import their scanned hand-drawings into TVP for an animatic. It is more comfortable to have each image on a separate layer for time-adjusting. Raymond, your script-idea did it - I just added one more command to hide the parent-layer ...

image sequence--> layers

Is there a way to import a sequence (image001.png, image002.png ...) on different automatically generated layers for each image ?

(wasn't there a tool, once ? )

Re: [WIP] Ruth ebook

To have (at least) a rhythm track is a great help and usually I work this way.
But since I can do the soundtrack by myself, with playing instruments :oops: - it should be not too hard to get off tediousness.

Re: [WIP] Ruth ebook

corrected so far: http://www.khoefs.de/Test_InsideCakeSmall.mp4 Thank you both very much for the critics. Raymond you're right the aunt was approaching too fast, almost slipping. I also corrected the editing, and made a complete new animation of the young man. Thanks you very much Paul, for the tips...

Re: [WIP] Ruth ebook

Black and white drawings have a built-in abstraction, the viewer will add own colors in her or his mind. Eg such a b/w drawing of a garden will drag the viewer into the flowers, trees and ivy. On the other hand, many friends of mine like color compositions giving a scene a specific atmosphere, looks...

Re: UPDATE for Apple IMAC

Easiest way to update is directly out of TVP. Start your older TVP version / under Help-Menu, click Check For Updates, download will start automatically / the installer will start the installation process with popping up. Another way ( after downloading )is to look in your download folder and to dou...

Ben, thank you very much. :)

I am curious - what you think about the text and the combination text/image/animation.
Did it work for you ?

Re: TVPaint Animation 10 Pro on Mac 64 bit

Does this mean anyone with the old Mirage-dongle cannot run 64-bit on Mac for ever ?
If so, any ideas ?

Re: KB shortcut question

You can use CutBrush-Mode "Cut" as default.
1.Then cut-out your drawing-parts or whatever with that CutBrush-Mode.
2. Press ctrl-Z
3. Your cut-out as a CutBrush is still available, and your original drawing is present again. So actual you made a CutBrush Mode "Copy"

Re: Remove "OSX styled" buttons

I changed my GUI to something darker and less 3d-touch. So the fruit-bonbon-style of OSX should not be in the forefront of all.

You can change your GUI with Shift-D / Interface.

Re: Stills from TVPaint

Ctrl-Shift-E
As Single Image or Sequence ( eg to choose later one of them for the Portfolio)

Format png ( I think it is better to have a more quality, non-jpg format like eg Png, tga, tiff )
Mode RGB or Mode RGBA

For screenshots, use a software tool or the default shortcuts depending on your OS
