He said it was a lovely reference, not a lovely colour choice. He hasn't said if he thinks yellow gloves are lovely or not.

Is this just one shot of the intro? It's be strange to have one of the enemy characters in clear view before you get to the love story that's being disrupted, in my opinion anyway.

Re: Turbulence displacement

Ok, displacement mapping with a 4 point plasma animation worked quite well actually. Thanks!

Re: Turbulence displacement

Yeah, it's not for the actual frames of animation. I do boil stuff myself where possible :D It's for holds. Some of the budgets for some commissioned stuff aren't big enough to spend time boiling everything on threes. An example of the turbulence displacement would be for this thing that I animated ...

Turbulence displacement

HI all, I sometimes use Turbulence displacement in AE to create a fake boil when I have a clean ink line. Is there an equivalent effect in TVP anyone uses? I've had a look but I can't see anything that would be practical.

Re: Annecy 2019

Well I met some TVPaint people and they seemed very nice. Also, my pitching at MIFA went well. I won a residency at NEF and the ciclic prize. So we're pretty pleased :)

Here it is :) https://www.annecy.org/mifa/mifa-pitche ... j-20197028

Re: Adobe tells users that they can get sued for using older versions of Photoshop

Amen, I've almost completely been able to leave Adobe behind now. The only time I need it is with AE when I'm doing complex layers in 3D space shots, and that's very rare.

Re: Bug: Unable to Modify "Magic Blue Eraser" Tool from Sketch Panel

I think TVPaint uses an RGB code from memory, the colour panel can tell you the number. I'll check later today.

Re: How do you do shutter focus/blur effects in TVpaint?

Just a gaussian bur will effect the whole layer unless you've got a selection active?
