Re: Mac High resolution monitors not supported in 2019

Hi Johannes,

Unfortunaly, I have no other solution to provide you at that moment and I doubt we will be able to do something for TVPaint 11. However, we have hope, for the next version, to use a new engine that should work better for high resolution screen.

Sorry we can't do more for now.

Re: Mac High resolution monitors not supported in 2019

Hi jeremyN, i just noticed that all you interface, even the menu bar is much smaller than my interface, so it seems to be a MacOS setting. But even if i change the scale in system settings i do not get the result you have. Menu bar compared: screenshot-scaled.png Setting scale to 'More space' _ 201...

Re: Mac High resolution monitors not supported in 2019

Hi, here is a screenshot of my desktop with TVPaint (interface scale is 1) and photoshop. Each project is 1500x1500 and each zoom factor is 100%.

Strange your 1500x1500 project is "bigger" on your screen than mine.

Re: Mac High resolution monitors not supported in 2019

Hi, I have an iMac 5K at the office and TVPaint is not pixellated when I run it. Did you try to upscale the interface ? Settings.png Please, go to preferences -> interface -> interface scale and change it to 2 (or 3 but it will be really big in this case !) And be sure to not run the software in "lo...

Re: Mac OS High Sierra (update 01/08/2018)

Ok, no problem with 64bits version of TVPaint 11 on Mojave , but what about 32bits version of TVPaint 11 on Mojave ? It works too... but maybe are you talking about Standard version of TVPaint 11 which exists only in 32bits ? We are currently working on a Standard version which will work on 64 bits...

Re: Mac OS High Sierra (update 01/08/2018)

Hi,
Only 32bits version works for TVPaint 10 but, for TVPaint 11.0.8, there is no problem with the 64bits version on Mojave.

Re: Problem with dongle key or licence

Yes, I work for TVPaint  Do you remove all TVPaint stuff before installing Sentinel drivers ? I mean, you must delete the application and your config files (which should be at /Users/YOURNAME/Library) or (re-)installing drivers won't work. Only after this, you can install and launch TVPaint. A...

Re: can't run TVP 10.5 on mojave

The main difference between 32bits and 64bits is the available memory. On 32bits, TVPaint can be slow with very big project (like 4K). To come back to your issue (the grey interface on 64bits), just before my previous post, we discover the problem appears also in TVPaint 11.0.0, 11.0.1 and 11.0.2 in...

Re: can't run TVP 10.5 on mojave

UPDATE:

Do you use a 10.5 in 64bits ? Can you test if it works with a 32bits one ?
If not, is there an error message which is displayed ?

Re: can't run TVP 10.5 on mojave

Hi again ! As I said, we come back to you. You wrote that you can't launch TVPaint so it might be an issue related to Sentinel driver. Unfortunally, even if we know how to fix this issue, it will be useless on Mojave with TVPaint 10.5. I manage to successfully launch TVPaint 10.5 on Mojave but the a...

Re: can't run TVP 10.5 on mojave

Hello ! Standard is 32-bit and I believe that Apple no longer supports 32-bit apps as of Mojave In fact, 32-bits apps are still working on Mojave but should stop on the next MacOS (10.15) which will come next year. I did some test and the standard version of TVPaint 11.0.8 in 32bits is working on Mo...

Re: Minimise TVPaint window

Hello, Sorry for late answer. Your TVPaint window is probably too big to be displayed on your screen or it is misplaced. To fix this, click with the left mouse button on one of the corner of the window and maintain it (like if you want to resize it) then, press the button Alt and don't release it. T...

Re: Mac OS High Sierra (update 15/03/2018)

Hi everyone, Normally, we don't test MacOS beta, because things can change and problems mainly come from Safenet driver. We can't do much things about Safenet drivers because we don't develop them, it's Safenet/Gemalto responsibility. Exceptionally, I decided to test Mojave beta... and everything wo...
