Handles on instances

This is a wish. I wish that when you zoom out on the timeline, you did not lose the last instance handle. That is, the little square at the bottom right of the instance. Not on all of them, but on the last one only. That way, you could zoom out, grab the handle and quickly drag that instance to cove...

Re: How to make a project smaller

Svangali, that worked perfectly. Thank you!!

Peter, that is absolutely a logical way to do it as well, which I had not thought of. Okay, then problem solved too ways. Many thanks!!

Re: How to make a project smaller

Here's a movie I made where I deleted from a layer which had instances from beginning to end. See the strange behaviour on the other layers? (Sorry, I don't know how to make the movie appear in this message directly, so it's a small download.)

Re: How to make a project smaller

Ah, that's interesting because it does it on all the layers prior to the area I want to save, but after the sequence, the button only does it to the one layer. I wonder why. At least it helps, but if you know why, do let me know. :D Also worth noting, any layers which are a held BG, just disappear c...

Re: How to make a project smaller

The problem is, that only works if all your layers are all the exact same length on the timeline. Otherwise, it ruins the layers I want maintained. Here's an example of that not working.

How to make a project smaller

So I have a large project with many layers. It's 30 seconds long. I want to save it as a new project, but I only need 5 seconds of that project for this new version. I need all the layers though. So how do I easily delete everything but the five seconds I need for this version, and on all layers? I ...

Re: Pointer changing to arrow

Okay, it just happened, I looked over to the top corner and indeed, there was a notification, so yes, I will turn them off. Thank you. Please let us know if this ever gets corrected.

I have a Cintiq 21UX v2. I have the very latest Wacom driver as I just reinstalled it a few days ago.

Pointer changing to arrow

My pen pointer, a dot, keeps changing to a big fat arrow out of the blue, which I can't use to draw with. I can fix it by quickly touching the timeline, which seems to refresh the pointer, but it happens very often so really interrupts my flow. I am using 11.0.8 on Mac with Mojave, but also happenin...

Re: Mac OS High Sierra (update 01/08/2018)

So I see that only the 32 bit version of TVPaint runs on Mojave, which is not so good. Also, after Mojave, Macs will not support any 32 bit apps, so what are the plans for updating TVPaint to continue functioning on Macs?

Re: Locking the timeline

This only works sort of. Every single instance must be the edited the same for this to happen. So for instance if I have a layer which begins 10 frames later, say a prop which appears, when you select that layer along with the others and edit as described, that prop layer does not move and will be o...

Re: Locking the timeline

The layers are not all identical in timing. For instance, one of them might be held legs which will eventually move. The second would be the body and the third, lip sync. So if I adjust the hold at the start, I want the hold on all three layers to move at the same time, but right now, I have to do o...

Re: Locking the timeline

Thank you Paul and DT. So splitting the track is great, but now I am wondering if I can do the opposite. I have a character on three levels and when I move the timing on one, I want the other two to stay in sync, so I want to be able to move the timing on one track and have it lock to the other two ...

Re: Locking the timeline

Yeah, I think splitting the layers is the best workaround, but it's still a multistep thing, right? Like, I can't just put the cursor where I want to split and then just click on one thing? I believe I have to carefully select one section, then copy to layer above, then go back to the layer below an...

Locking the timeline

Is there a way to work on a section on the timeline without it moving the rest of the timeline after it? That is, if I want to fiddle with the timing on a few frames, but want the instances which follow to remain where they are. They only thing I can think of is to duplicate the layer and then delet...
