Re: Strange white bar

Oh wow. That is well hidden as it doesn't come up on the upper menu at all when you search for it. I've never seen it before. Thank you for solving that.

Re: Strange white bar

Sure. This shows the notes open at the bottom with that stripe of notes on screen at the top as well. As I say, only in this scene and it happens if the scene is opened up on a different computer too.

Strange white bar

On one scene only, I have a white bar at the top of the window, but outside the working area. I just realized it is the same bar as the Notes track, which can be displayed below, but it won't go away. I've never seen the Notes track at the top like that. How do I make it go away?

Re: Why 11.0.9?

Yes, very confusing. The message literally says "for those using the previous version of TVPaint 11". The previous version of 11 is 11.0.8, so that's me. I am offered a 25% discount to upgrade to 11.0.9, but it turns out, the upgrade is free for me because I have 11.0.8. It should say, "for those us...

Re: Why 11.0.9?

Ah, well that's not clear at all from the email I just received and on logging into my account, I found an upgrade link under the Support heading (but not under software). An email to users with a direct link to a free upgrade would be much easier. Or even a message that says, "already an 11.0.08 us...

Why 11.0.9?

I received an email from TVPaint suggesting I need to upgrade to 11.0.9 to work with Mac OS Catalina. Thing is, 11.0.8 is already 64 bit, so it should work fine. The email also says that previous users of 11 can get a 25% discount on the upgrade, but I'm not seeing an upgrade price. The price indica...

Handles on instances

This is a wish. I wish that when you zoom out on the timeline, you did not lose the last instance handle. That is, the little square at the bottom right of the instance. Not on all of them, but on the last one only. That way, you could zoom out, grab the handle and quickly drag that instance to cove...

Re: How to make a project smaller

Here's a movie I made where I deleted from a layer which had instances from beginning to end. See the strange behaviour on the other layers? (Sorry, I don't know how to make the movie appear in this message directly, so it's a small download.)

Re: How to make a project smaller

Ah, that's interesting because it does it on all the layers prior to the area I want to save, but after the sequence, the button only does it to the one layer. I wonder why. At least it helps, but if you know why, do let me know. :D Also worth noting, any layers which are a held BG, just disappear c...

Re: How to make a project smaller

The problem is, that only works if all your layers are all the exact same length on the timeline. Otherwise, it ruins the layers I want maintained. Here's an example of that not working.

How to make a project smaller

So I have a large project with many layers. It's 30 seconds long. I want to save it as a new project, but I only need 5 seconds of that project for this new version. I need all the layers though. So how do I easily delete everything but the five seconds I need for this version, and on all layers? I ...

Re: Pointer changing to arrow

Okay, it just happened, I looked over to the top corner and indeed, there was a notification, so yes, I will turn them off. Thank you. Please let us know if this ever gets corrected.

Pointer changing to arrow

My pen pointer, a dot, keeps changing to a big fat arrow out of the blue, which I can't use to draw with. I can fix it by quickly touching the timeline, which seems to refresh the pointer, but it happens very often so really interrupts my flow. I am using 11.0.8 on Mac with Mojave, but also happenin...
