Re: How do I stretch the interface across a 2nd display?

Thanks Elodie! Question: can you implement the drawers if you don't have the GUI stretched out fully to the left and right edges of the screen? I don't want to pull the GUI all the way to the edges because, if there's a crash or I shut down improperly, the software doesn't remember how I'd set it up...

Re: How do I stretch the interface across a 2nd display?

That worked!!! However as a result, one other issue has come up: because I've unchecked the left & right drawers, the right side panels (Handy Custom Panel, Sketch Panel, Sketch Panel RGB) are now stacked up on the left side with the other panels. There isn't going to be enough room for all of them ...

Re: How do I stretch the interface across a 2nd display?

I have the TVP UI stretched across 2 screens: my Cintiq, which is below, and a 2nd monitor, which is above. When I stretched the UI from the Cintiq up through the 2nd monitor, all of the left-side panels (Main Panel, Menu Bar, Color Panel, Tool Panel) slid up to the upper monitor as well. Each time ...

Re: How do I stretch the interface across a 2nd display?

Thank Elodie, but I've done that several times now - made sure "Displays have separate Spaces" is unchecked, and restarted. For some odd reason, the panels still want to snap back up to the top screen.
Any other thoughts as to what it might be?

Re: How do I stretch the interface across a 2nd display?

... something else I just noticed... when I drag the panels down to the project window area, they stay down there. But as soon as I slide them to the left, into the lighter gray vertical area that they dock in, they scoot back up to the top monitor.

Re: How do I stretch the interface across a 2nd display?

I'm running 10.12.5 Sierra. Do you suppose that could be the difference?

Yes, I have "Mirror Displays" unchecked.
This is a puzzler!

Re: How do I stretch the interface across a 2nd display?

I'm using TVP Pro 11.0.6 - 64 bit

I tried what you suggested with unchecking the "Magnet" box, but it's still doing the same thing. After I drag the panels to the Cintiq and let go of the click, they shoot back up to the top monitor.

Re: How do I stretch the interface across a 2nd display?

... hold the presses! For some reason, it just worked! I have my 2nd monitor above my Cintiq and I was able to stretch the interface up through the top monitor. The issue that I'm seeing now is that I want to keep the left side windows (Menu Bar, Color Panel, Main Panel, Tool Panel) on the lower scr...

Re: How do I stretch the interface across a 2nd display?

Thanks oOAmpyOo! The issue that I'm encountering though, is that the GUI isn't "stretching". When I drag one edge, the opposite edge doesn't stay put, but rather follows. I'm just dragging the entire interface around. How do you get it to stretch?

How do I stretch the interface across a 2nd display?

My apologies if this topic has been dealt with on this forum, but I haven't found the answer yet. I'm using an iMac and trying to drag the TVP GUI across 2 displays so that I can keep the timeline on it's own monitor. When I get the cursor near the edge, I can see the horizontal arrow indicator appe...

Re: Can you assign line smoothing to a brush in a custom panel?

Thanks Svengali! One additional question-- I've never done coding of any kind, so this will probably sound like a stupid question, but do I copy the 2 lines verbatim, including the words inside the parentheses: "tv_DrawSmoothing 1 1 10 1 PullString tv_drawsmoothing activate[0|1] realtime[0|1] value(...

Can you assign line smoothing to a brush in a custom panel?

With regards to creating custom panels, can you assign a particular line smoothing value to a brush that would be saved within that custom panel? I'm attempting to create a custom panel for a pen that I can click on that will already have a value of line smoothing assigned to it, however the line sm...
