CGT that wont go on strike = CTG!

Following my other post that went to hell about auto paint. :D Here are a few "problems" I had while using the CTG layers. So this is feature change/bug report I am not certain which one. Working on high resolution project( little less then 4k) can make the squiggle hard to see and find if looking a...

Re: auto paint

Well, I guess you need a little patience to get a feeling for the use of squiggles, as you do with every drawing or painting tool. Due to the complexity of the calculations it becomes a matter of gut feeling rather than conscious control, at least to me it did, and therefore an invitation to not ma...

Re: auto paint

Without seeing an example of your line work, this is really a broad claim. Area detection can only be that good on non-closed areas. Closed areas will get recognised without fail. But to expect an algorithm to work flawlessly in any situation of broken lines is a bit ... naive? I mean the paint buc...

Re: auto paint

Have you actually tried the CTG layer in TVPaint 11 ? FDjQNvbgzmw Yes I got to work with it on a production earlier this year and it was a bit disappointed to tell you the truth. It certainly better then the old paint bucket. but: - it always spills over others area which then need to be excluded. ...

Re: auto paint

Does the plug-in G'MIC work to do what you are describing if you are auto painting a sequence of frames in Krita or Gimp Yes but since Gimp and Krita are not animation software(althought krita has some basic animation function) it works for only one frame at the time. Frankly, I can't see how it wo...

Re: auto paint

Its true  , unless there was a way to color the correct color in each area. Maybe with a facial recognition software to recognize characters and then.....ok ok stop

...I guess it all comes down to have a better coloring tool the the current ones...

auto paint

Hello, I recently found out the auto paint in the plugin G'MIC for Krita/Gimp. Basicaly it randomly colorizes any enclosed area and put the colors on a separate layer. This could be used along side with the color replacement tool already present in TVP. No more frame by frame coloring....one click d...

Re: TV Paint Light?

Interesting discussion, did anyone ever consider doing it Open Source? Like what Blender did or Opentoonz recently?

TVpaint light

hello, I was wondering if there was other people who ever wanted to have a light version of tvpaint: with even fewer features then the "standard" version. Something like: 5 layers max, no effects, no camera, only RGB colors pencils, no layer modes, no cgt layers, only the basic tools, no flips, no r...

tvpaint windows start up

Hello,

TvPaint recently started opening up full screen spread across both my displays. I uninstalled/reinstalled, but it is still the same. Also I changed in the configuration panel to start up using the last configuration.

Anyone had the issue before?

Cheers

Re: Shortcut on sprocket

Right now I never use sprockets (they are too tiny for me cause I prefer to work in high resolution and I lose time trying to grab them). So I prefer to use shortcuts for the timings (like the ones in the handy panel, I have some to increment/decrement timings or just choose a number for the exposi...

Shortcut on sprocket (solved)

Hi, It would be wonderful to have shortcuts for all the sprockets. That way we can ajust the timing of a long scene without having to zoom in and zoom out all the time. It would also make the "timeline view" and the project tab much more easy to use. That way we can simply go into a scene from the t...

hehe, I didn't expected to get a real answer, I just asked out of fun, but "wait and see" sounds funny, since I'm expecting to wait a few years from now on.
Exciting news! :D
