Re: TVpaint 64bit STD is lagging on Mac

Hi, not sure if I have the same issue but I'm also experiencing lagging. Especially trying to select things in the menu and right clicking layers, colour tags etc. Sometimes I have to click something a few times before the menu pops up... sometimes it works OK... I've tried using the mouse and my W...

Re: UPDATE?

I would love an update on this too. There has been complete silence on the future timeline of TVP updates, as well as further difficulty in using a dongle in a world of portability and USB-C.

Re: Break Instance across all layers?

I think this is what you need... create a new action button and insert the following embedded script. tv_LayerGetImage FrameNumber = result ExitFlag = 0 Counter = 0 While ExitFlag == 0 tv_LayerGetID Counter LayerID = result // tv_warn "Counter = " Counter " LayerID = " LayerID " FrameNumber = " Fra...

Re: Break Instance across all layers?

Look in the Handy Custom Panel > All Layers group. Also: very old link to a custom panel which includes a Multi-layer Instance button, plus other buttons for various multi-layer operations . Sven Hi Sven! Thanks for this. This is *almost* what I need, but not quite. I want to create instances acros...

Re: Unwanted Straight Lines at the Beginning of Strokes

I've had this issue on both my home and work Mac stations on TVP for years now and have no idea how to solve it. Really annoying :( Hi swiftsketcher, I had this problem for weeks (or months) until literally now, but it seems like I've just fixed the problem. Do you have by any chance a mouse plugge...

Break Instance across all layers?

I can do this with one layer at a time, (image > instances > Break Instance) and have this set to a button. But is there a way to have this action apply to all layers at the same time?

Strokes will create straight line suddenly

Hi, I'm currently on TVP 11 version 11.0.8-64 bits, on Mac OS X Sierra 10.12.6, Wacom driver 6.3.29-6, on the Cintiq 22HD.

Drawing curves produces a sudden straight line in the drawing as shown below:

Is there any way to fix this?

Yes it is planned to offer a replacement solution to any TVPaint user using a dongle, but it will be done step by step. More information to come soon !
Wow, this is just what I wanted to hear!

What is the timeline for this? :D

Option to keep playhead "always centered" in timeline.

I often find that as I flip between frames and scroll around the sequence I'll look up to the timeline and find that it's either all the way to the left or right, and I'll have to use the scroll bars to re-center it and reference the nearby instances I want that were offscreen because of this behavi...

Selection tool: Magnetic Wand version?

Is there any tool that is like the selection tool in photoshop that is magnetic to the nearest line? This would help immensely in selecting certain shapes and drawings. If not, it would be a great addition!

Re: Why is TVP changing the resolution of my PSDs?

Hello ! Do not mistake Resolution and Definition. In term of display, only definition (in pixels) makes sense. The resolution is measured in Dots Per Inch and it only matters when you're printing things out. DPIs are used to indicate how dense the image resolution will be when you will print your i...

Why is TVP changing the resolution of my PSDs?

I'm having issues importing my PSDs exported from TVP into our image compiler at my job due to the resolution changing. Here's what I mean: I start off with this image. Here are the resolution and pixel properties in Photoshop: (1078 x 581) (resolution: 200) Screen Shot 2017-09-19 at 12.53.52 AM.png...
