Re: No space left on disk

I tried to open all my projects, but there is no error happening. It seems to happen only after I've been working on the files for some time.

I'll have to see if I can figure out if there is some pattern to these errors.

Re: No space left on disk

Yep, it was in automatic, but I was testing if that had anything to do with the issue. So it just stayed on while I was screencapping. And to clarify, in my last post I was referring also to another issue. If I float on top of the "automatic" tick box on "cache usage" (to learn what the tick box doe...

Re: No space left on disk

Yeah, I don't believe it's that, I've got 300 gb space left. I'm also curious about the Preferences tab, Memory&Cache. In cache usage - automatic, if I float on top of it, a pop up says this. Screen Shot 2017-09-15 at 11.38.43.png The pop up is referring to Undo cache, but seems like the undo cache ...

No space left on disk

We've been working with a 4k project. Usually if I've been working with one project, I can open another one with no problems. But if I want to open a third one, I sometimes get this. Screen Shot 2017-09-15 at 10.31.40.png Even if I close the two earlier ones, seems that something is full. What is it...

Re: Instance and Keyframer questions

2) I'm not sure to understand the Keyframer part. I think Piotr means that why do you have to render the effect to the layer ? Why doesn't the effect work live, as in calculated on the go. Like what after effects is doing. My answer to this is, that I always thought it would be easier on the softwa...

go to first frame inconsistency

Hi, When I press this button (1), cursor goes to beginning (2) inconsistent.jpg However, if I use a shortcut (shift+tab in my case) it works as expected (goes to the first frame of current layer.) consistent.jpg I was looking to set up a hotkey to go to the first frame of the whole clip, but I run i...

Re: Custom brush info needed

yeah, It is a pretty tricky brush to make. This method is pretty neat, manually controlling the aspect ratio. Still the repeating images occur, it's almost like wacom has 2000+ pressure sensitivity levels, but it only uses 20(?). But now I know that I can put 1024 images into a brush and it doesn't ...

Re: Custom brush info needed

Hi Fabrice,

Is it in any ways possible to limit the jitter to one axis only? This way the line could be randomized only along the lenght of the brush stroke, and the jitter wouldn't affect the width.

Re: Custom brush info needed

Hey Fabrice, I attached the base structure as a project. Here is a pic from the erase shape. Screen Shot 2017-09-01 at 15.12.45.png I used this shape ( b8_erase) to erase from the brushshape. then I eroded the brush from 0.7 to 3 if I remember correct. Thanks a lot, hope you find the right combo! Fa...

Re: Custom brush info needed

Ok, good to hear that I'm reaching the limits :D It just feels that there might be something I just don't know, but I'm glad to hear you're facing the same problems. (and also glad it's not a problem in my communication, because it could very well be. If I'm giving out too much information, or too m...

Re: Custom brush info needed

Thank you both, nice brushes! Marcus, I've made this kind of similar techniqued brushes, and they can really create a nice feeling towards a mezzotint. Elodie, this brush didn't do the trick for me. The idea of the brush was to not rotate the angle, so this messes up my idea :) Let's see if I can ma...

Re: Custom brush info needed

Thanks for the info Elodie! Ok, so there are different engines behind all the family of brushes. Understood. But as the custom brush already has the possibility to change f.ex the size with pressure, I don't see the reason why changing the aspect (ratio) with pressure doesn't exist. (And by the way,...

Custom brush info needed

Hi all, I've been fiddling intensively with brushes, and there are some things I still don't understand. I'm hoping to get some more info. 1. Why can't I control Aspect on my custom brush? Or light, that is included in the Oil Brush? (I have no need for that, but I'm just trying to figure this out. ...
