It was a request from many teachers on network licenses since students made too much messy interfaces after several days of use.
yes! it does tend to get messy fast, and that is precisely another good reason to make it easier to bring your own config :D

Re: Save Config

yes some more user control over the config would be welcome. for instance a way to make sharing configs easier. like at school, it would be nice if students could bring their own config to the machines at school, (they are always reset to default...) and easily activate it, it is now already possibl...

Re: Crop tool bin

Marcus there is a workaround, the croptool obeys the grid. so you can set, name and save multiple locations using the guide panel!

Re: Clean-up

no, you can also make very longe lines using this method but the tapering will athen also be longer. according to the profile so you could consider setting up a couple of different taper-preset buttons in a custompanel for short/medium and long lines. the transparency can be switched off if you set ...

Re: Clean-up

you can get this, using the spline tool in tvpaint set the drawing mode of your pentool to "fade" this is in the connectionsettings (red circle) and here you also choose the profile for the line , in this example a sinus shaped curve so all this in the red circle... tapered-nicely.jpg the drawback i...

Re: 3d in Tvpaint?

sorry about that, but i wasn't kidding adding such complexity can only come at the cost of what tvpaint is very good at now. in other words... tvpaint will become less good. case in point: the example you show the software is Toonboom. doing regular 2D animation in Toonboom is rather messy, exactly ...

Re: input+Shift locking movement into 45 Degree increments

i'm bumping this because:
- it still happens to me a lot on my cintiq
- i notice students wrestling with it.
- there was no "to do list reaction" yet...

this is an annoying function that needs to go!
