Re: Pointer changing to arrow

All i know is that you can set the cursorshape within tvpaint in the preferences under 'interface' .

i haven't heard about it changing automaticly, so that might be a mac setting?

Re: Replacing the black areas of hi-con matte with a color?

This is one of those TVP procedures that seems so non-intuitive. I'll definitely need to keep a copy of your instructions for future use because I'll never remember this one! it may seem like that at first...but its like driving a stickshift, first you think: " how will i ever learn this?" , but ov...

Re: feathered edge

feather = Smooth
so you can set a smooth value in your selection tool.

apply to multiple frames = ENTER-key
enter reapplies the last action of any tool to the selected range of frames

Re: Copyright rules

Funny question. of course you have 100% ownership of your own work. does Windsor and Newton put claims on the work of a painter? I don't see how it could be any different with software, which could be seen as the same thing: a tool/material in which to make art. That said.... if someone should work ...

it would help "sell" your brushes if you could put up an image with your post, of what they look like.

Re: acceleration with motion keyframer

Woah, never noticed that setting. It's not referenced in the manual, am I right? Does anybody know a rule of thumb to translate those values to 35mm lens lengths? not sure if that is even possible... in any meaningfull way though maybe you could reverse engineer something with the use of a series o...

Re: acceleration with motion keyframer

the secret is in the Zcamera value , which you can set in the resources tab of the keyfraemer. a lower value will get you a more extreme perspective of the camera. in these examples... at value 10000 it is extremely tele-lens so hardly any movement on a 1000 pixel z-move. but on value 100 the moveme...

Re: Windows 10 Interface Scaling

yes i tried it yesterday for a student who couldn't use tvpaint in 1 on her cintiq because she could not click the layer handles. indeed 2 is to big and 3... well i almost could not get back out of that, because it was too ridiculously large, had to reset my config. what was the idea for 3? 8K scree...

Re: input+Shift locking movement into 45 Degree increments

this is driving me nuts
i can't do a quick shift&drag to reposition along the y-axis because TVP thinks shifting along a 45 degrees axis is much better

45deg needs to go!!!!!

Re: Zoom limitation for sanity

Though there is something about having a hard limit (TVP won't zoom beyond x) that I like for reasons of creative flow - a little bit like apps that don't have an Undo option for conceptual reasons. i see what you mean and i can relate. though the flip side is yet another little setting switch that...

Re: TVPaint crashes immediatly after starting the program.

Hello Team, can someone look into this? Or does anyone else have some suggestion? i have no idea, whats up with the issue you have Thomas. maybe you could try a different version of tvpaint? not sure if you have access to that? but if you do you should be able to see all TVPaint versions your licens...

Re: Locking the timeline

also, using frame markers can go a long way in helping to keep layers aligned when editing them.
but i agree totally that a way of locking layers together would be a very important improvement.

Re: Zoom limitation for sanity

no, i don't see a need for this.

though i recognize that situation (been there. :P )

what i recommend for you is opening an extra view window (shortcut=m) at 100%
so you can see what you are doing at normal resolution
