Re: How to do a gradual colour change?

All colour-changing FX are key-able - make sure to create a key at the beginning. Sometimes I'm lazy and do it like this: create a coloured rectangle, change the colour in the next frame, then stretch this 2-frame-clip to the desired length of transition and click interpolate . haha! yes this actua...

Nice to see that even a simple problem like this can be looked at from so many different angles! :)
You'll find this typical for tvpaint. There are usually many ways that lead to Rome.

Re: Brush profile cannot be selected

the only suggestion i can come up with is that the profile panel could be opening up underneath some other panel or somewhere else you can't see it. maybe you shifted it all the way to the side once and now when you open it its only a few pixels along the edge of the screen... this sometimes happens...

Re: Library features.

+1 3 year old request. Http://www.tvpaint.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=10159&p=115753&hilit=library#p95000 Related to that I'd really like to be able to add directly the current custom brush as an image guide instead of having to add it in the library and then as an image guide I'd also like to ha...

Re: Add Jitter Function to Pencil Tool

if you want to have more control of your line quality i'd go for a custombrush. this tool offers many more controls for you to get just the line roughness you like. Added benefit is that you can make the brush dynamic, in the sense that you can use an animation of an increasingly rougher shape as yo...

Re: Improving Out-of-Pegs inbetweening system

I thought this was another very interesting idea for improving OOP :

but because of the limitations of scripting not yet working optimal.

Re: Improving Out-of-Pegs inbetweening system

Interesting exchange i missed here. I agree with the conclusion that the off pegg function works fine as it is (i personally dislike Toonbooms OOP because it is much less direct, you have to do a number of steps in selecting the frames etc.. whereas in TVP you simply click the frame you want to adju...

Re: can Light Table ignore empty instances?

why not make a image mark shortcut? that way you can quickly toggle marks on and off with one keypress instead of having to dig your way into the menu every time... which indeed is cumbersome.

Re: FXstack management

i'll just bump this because its such an important request.

i also think its low hanging fruit for the developers because i think this should be do-able without the new engine.
in other words, this would be an easy way to create a new feature and make a big improvement.

extra bookmark colors

-i would be nice to have extra bookmark colors

This would be particularly useful to orientate oneself in projects with large timelines.

Also i'd like to make it as easy as possible to add images.
and therefore have the option in the library to " add (a new) image from Clipboard"
-i would still like this.

Re: Re-use animation

Animbrush is not the only way, and it doesn't allow for the line-thickness adjustment. So its not that easy. the animbrush method only works if you dont do much scaling. you can use the keyframer (in the FX stack) to scale, rotate, flip, or animate. if you want to thicken the lines when scaling down...
