Re: TVPaint on 68k Amiga - With Pressure Sensitivity

As they say, "A day late and a dollar short." The tech gentleman that builds my computers just told me last month that he sold all of his old Amigas on Ebay. He had quite a collection but decided to part with them because they brought a good price and he's still alive to enjoy the proceeds. He had a...

Re: Adobe tells users that they can get sued for using older versions of Photoshop

This is ridiculous. This is why that subscription based licenses are abysmal business practices. Agree. Subscriptions add up, and they make me feel tense, like I'm being taken hostage. Despite the threats, I will continue to use my AI CS6. I keep removing that Creative Cloud off my system so it doe...

... these [tutorials] are still valid and quite helpful :
Thank you for that link, DT Nethery. I'm still mystified and intimidated by all the variables in particles, so this will surely help.

Re: B-Spline Line Weight Feature

(I don't usually customize my brushes much ... I use the default brush tools and the various nice custom ones that I see posted on the forum , but I'm not regularly customizing the drawing tools ) . I am also one who is inclined to use default brush tools as D.T. Nethery stated above. I also downlo...

Re: Drawn with TVPaint

I've moved the posts concerning Animationriver's art to another topic :)
Thank you once again, Thierry, for helping me out. You're the man. :D (I wondered if any of the other replies were for me, but I "gave" them all to Animationriver, so as not to cause embarrassment.)

Cheers!

Re: Drawn with TVPaint

Thank you for your kind comments, Lam Giang. And thank you for specifying that your reply was for toonybrain; there seems to be someone (Mr. Animationriver) who posted his work on my thread which has left me uncertain about to whom replies are directed... :?

Camera, Camera, Camera ...

Improvement request? Camera, camera, camera. The rival Toon Boom is blowing it out of the water.

But I still love my TVPaint.

Thank you!

Re: MAC with PARALLELS: Dongle not seen ...

Fabrice, 50% success rate: no go with the Mac side, but now I'm able to open TVPaint on the Win 7 side. I'm okay with that. As long as I can open TVPaint somewhere on this system I'm content.

Re: MAC with PARALLELS: Dongle not seen ...

1) TVPaint 10 (the last version before 11 came out)
2) I will install the 7.4.2 drivers and give it a go.

Thx

MAC with PARALLELS: Dongle not seen ...

There was a similar threat to this one involving another Mac OS (Yosemite). I have been having an ongoing problem with my Mac as well. My TVPaint dongle is not recognized. I have an iMac (about 4 years old) with Parallels installed (Win 7). First I had Snow Leopard on the Mac, then I upgraded to El ...

Re: Peanuts! Feature film by Blue Sky

The problem is just money + the fact that many producers are just ignorant and think 2D is "old school" I have a recurring idea/dream: many 2D animators are getting older (this is why 2D is thought to be "old school") and perhaps some are retired. Perhaps some are in a comfortable place financially...
