Re: Morph from one image to the next

Have a try with the Optical Flow FX. Works best in reverse, define the end position first, then distort to start position. Reverse frames later. It's also possible to combine several techniques, like using the Drawing Recorder, plus something else covering the middle. Don't get yourself trapped by t...

Re: Cross hatch effect

It's much easier to create a mask of the object and cross hatch inside it.

Re: Transform frame by frame?

If you have one instance with several exposures, changing the first frame will of course also change all subsequent frames. First you need to break up the instances into individual frames. There's a button for this in the Animator Panel.

Re: Cross hatch effect

You can easily produce your own brushes for this. Create a dozen crosshatch spots and play around with spacing etc. I've noticed that it's easier to create a dark effect with lots of hatch layers than a light one, because the repetitionis easier spotted. Also a non-directional hatching looks better....

Re: FX Bruit

1. Essayez un pinceau avec des points, comme le crayon.
2. Utilisez une texture de papier avec une dureté de 100%.

Re: Positioning objects or particles

Oh yes, stamping stuff can be much faster than setting up FX for each layer. It also helps to have a layout layer with all movement paths and indicated positions underneath ... scene can be done in 15 min.

Re: Positioning objects or particles

Reversing keys must be done layer by layer, reversing the final merged layer is much less steps.

Re: Positioning objects or particles

No, there's no other way than doing it for each object separately.

Tip: Working backwards is much easier, arrange everything to the final shape first, then, with the keyframer, set random position. Reverse sequence after rendering and merging all layers.

Here I get:
a project name if there's another project open
a list of clips if I have more than one clip in the current project.

Re: 4K EXPORT to .mov

Your client needs to be really specific about what he wants. Aspect ratio - 16:9. Usually we do this ratio with some HD format, like FullHD 1920 x 1080, or 720p = 1280 x 720, or UHD = 3840 x 2160. All these formats use square pixels . In TVP, this is indicated in the field "Pixel Aspect Ratio" = 1.0...

Re: 4K EXPORT to .mov

Please, use your own calculator next time. 4096 x 2304 equals a 16:9 ratio. You don't do anything wrong by animating in this size. However, depending on your broadcaster/producer/distributor, they may ask you to deliver in exact UHD dimensions, which is 3840 x 2160. Simply a matter to scale down whi...
