Re: Jagged lines using ruler (Shift+draw)

Try this: already start the drawing movement without letting the pen touch the surface, press shift, lower pen onto tablet. If you've pressed shift before you move the pen, the software can't decide reliably where you want to go and judges from those small movements your pen does even when you think...

Re: Imported Audio Glitch - ticking sound

Are you sure the ticking is not in the very soundfile you imported? Because TVP doesn't alter a sound file, and if it would add anything in playback it wouldn't show up in the waveform.

Re: Next Frame -shortcut?

There's a difference between "next frame " and "next instance". Per default the arrow buttons use "next instance". You can easily assign this differently.

Re: Huion

Over there at twitter Sarah Burrini did a favourable review. She mentioned a recent driver update, so that's definitely reason enough to give it another try.

Re: Animated paper textures

I used another approach once, when I created a looped sequence of about 20 full frame textures (on transparent) and used this as a mask on other layers. That was in 2011 and my computer nearly fainted from this. I think today (better computer) this would be easier. Just dipping everything (in a laye...

Re: Questions about Student Licence!

It's simple: you buy the Student license with your student ID as proof that you are, in fact, a student. Create good stuff with it as long as you want. Only if you want to buy an upgrade you will be asked if you're still a student, if not, you just pay full price as anybody else.

Re: Scanner Recommendations?

Haven't used this one, but 20 yrs ago we had a Mustek A3 scanner in the studio and it worked flawlessly. I'd say give it a go, for about 300.- € it's a bargain anyway.

Is that TVP Debut you're using? In that case you can't use the Project View.

Re: Project Playback + Export issue

Works here.

Did you, by any chance, have set in and out points to the same frame in a clip?
Have you set any clip to hide?

Re: login problem

First try to exclude physical reasons: have you tried different USB ports? Is the green light on?

Second: maybe a re-install of the sentinel driver helps. Unplug the dongle before you start this!

Re: Import PNG Sequence in TVP 11

The trick is in naming. TVP looks for the file names and concludes that anything with the same letter pattern and consecutive numbering is a sequence, and imports the whole thing (unless you've checked "single image"). Any gap in numbering stops the import. So blabla_001.png blabla_002.png blabla_00...
