Re: Frame Counter Brush (1 - 1500)

could anyone check to confirm?
I can't get it to do anything. All I see is the figure one inside the Main Panel where one finds the icons of the tools currently used. I probably don't understand the way this script is to be used.

I reported this some time ago and was talked out of it. Glad to see it confirmed.

Re: Loving Vincent - Oil painting

I think you are right. Advertising agencies are quickly turning it into a fad and have already approached us with inquiries. We turned them down. It's kitsch, plain and simple because it's still just rotoscoping and that will always smell of fake illusions, like big bands playing Beethoven.

Re: Improved export Clip as project

also the possibility to save a TVP(P) from a scene, a clip, a layer, an image or even a selection (if we allow clips, why not all other possibilities ?)
I don't get the logic. Has anyone been asking for these?

Re: Improved export Clip as project

Well it doesn't make me happy that we had under our noses a simple solution for something we have been doing in an awkward, roundabout way but that could have been avoided if it had been given a better name. The result of this clarification should be: let's find a proper name and not, "let's all sta...

Re: Improved export Clip as project

Yes, this is just what we need. I never understand what exactly Old TVP project referred to and had just ignored that weird wording that probably referred to fixing some backward incompatibility and had no application to our workflow. I think this needs to be rephrased.

Re: Improved export Clip as project

In my case, I would like to be able to save or export a clip directly from the Project tab instead of 1.opening it as a new project 2.Save as... 3.delete new project but allow us to directly save a clip to anyone's HD under the current name of the clip. So in addition to "Create a new project..." we...

Re: Improved export Clip as project

+1
This would so much expedite our work as well because Sandra can't paint my Project files since they would grow into unmanageable sizes. Therefore she has to separate each clip away from my Project and save these as new individual projects before she can start painting them.

Re: Work of Nathan Otaño

Nathan I sympathize with your cry for constructive criticism but I've been beaten out of that role on this website. I'm finished because the howls of the small minded have driven me away. Of course you want to be acknowledged because you are talented and ambitious and eager to succeed in all the rig...

Re: Printing one frame at 200% scale

You need to first expand your frame by 200% in TVP, using the Project>Modify Project panel.

Re: Using the CTG layer for colouring

David, the CTG does not work like the fill bucket. It is designed around a unique and ingenious algorithm few could understand (including myself of course  ) Instead of thinking about gap sizes try playing with the thickness of of line you use for scribbling and the shape of the scribble. You ...

Re: SLOCUM at sea with himself LAUNCHED

You were first of all already itching for a fight before you even got a glimpse of this film because your anger towards me had been by now deeply seated, for which I have some sympathy. I do admit that at a few points over the years I had slipped into the style of critiques that I had to put up with...

Re: Using the CTG layer for colouring

:D That's a question other people can answer better than I. I learned this much earlier from working with the plugin but don't remember if it was in the pulgin's manual or if I had learned it from speaking directly with D. Sykora, the plugin's developer.

Re: SLOCUM at sea with himself LAUNCHED

I don't mind being critiqued; on the contrary, I find it always helpful and am open to learning new things about my work which only another person can spot. So would you please point out a few areas you find that show my lack of animation skills? For instance which particular scene and which point o...
