Re: TVPaint on 68k Amiga - With Pressure Sensitivity

The Amiga used this heavy, white, pebbly surfaced tablet that was quite difficult to create real drawings with. Is this your goal to achieve? I don't want to totally knock it because that was my stepping stone from paper to digital drawing but why go retro? I just now remembered how that tablet was ...

Re: Dual Screen - how to create the ideal set up?

I have four monitors, one of which has entirely different dimensions (it is also the larger of the bunch) so I know you can indeed use two different types of monitors. The only thing that happens is that the larger monitor leaves a lot of unused space at the bottom of its space. This is all done in ...

Re: My project disappeared - nothing in the timeline

Thierry, would you mind telling us what went wrong so that we can all learn from it. I'm also curious to hear if it's just a MAC issue or not?

Film biopic of the past 20 years of Paul & Sandra Fierlinger

A generous friend of ours, John Thornton of Philadelphia, made an hour and ten minute film about our work and home-studio, mostly of the past 20 year TVP period. I can't find the right slot for this biopic among the plethora of many other such places to go with it. Might some good soul in the TVPain...

Re: détacher la timeline

Well something might be lost in the Translator. I understand that your Timeline Panel is still attached to the Project Panel and you want to release it so you can move it around and to do that you double click on the very top of the Timeline Panel.

Re: détacher la timeline

You double click on the top bar of the timeline panel and then zoom in or out with the tiny icon at the right of the tab "NEW" at the top of timeline header.

But you explained the purpose of the band. I use it to write notes for my composer or to see beats of my music marked with scribbles, or notes for VO actors where to accentuation certain expressions.

Re: grey area on top of main panel

That's the timeline notes showing. You can turn it off by unchecking it at the bottom of the Display menu which is situated at the very bottom right of what we call the Project Panel.

Re: Locking the timeline

I don't believe there are too many instances when you could mechanize the match so without knowing what exactly you are planning to change it is difficult to make a suggestion. The way I would go about something like this is to first make a temp track of all three layers merged. The temp track would...
